2005 Annual Fundraiser
On June 24, 2005, GRACE held its first-ever fundraiser thanks in large part to the generosity of Susan Silverman, who graciously allowed us to use her store Leap for the event. Over a dozen local businesses also supported the fundraiser by donating food, drinks, and auction items. Approximately 50 people were in attendance to mingle, listen to the music of Moodafaruka, participate in a silent auction and to listen to the story of Brandon Moon who spent 17 years in a Texas prison for a crime he did not commit. Thanks to all who attended and who made this event a success!
